Description: Shows an area of Lake Wakatipu, with a distinctive small inlet in the foreground, possibly at Kelvin Heights or further around the lake, below Wedge Peak. A number of mountains rise in the centre, with the snow-peaked Remarkables visible behind. In the foreground left, four sheep are grazing or resting. A small building, probably a boat shed, is seen on the water's edge, and a three-sailed boat sails within the inlet Inscriptions: Recto - bottom left - C.D.
