Solf, Lagi, 1909-1955, Solf, So'oa'emalelagi, 1909-1955

Daughter of Johanna and Wilhelm Solf, of the German anti-Nazi group the 'Solf Circle'. Born in Vailima, Samoa, as So'oa'emalelagi (Lagi) Solf in 1909. Married Wolfgang Mohr and lived in Shanghai in the 1920s, before moving to Berlin in 1938 after this mariage was annulled. In 1940, she married the Silesian nobleman Hubert Earl of Ballestrem. She was involved in the 'Solf Circle' as well as other political activities in China and Germany. She died in Bonn in 1955.
