Description: Poster shows a photograph of a woman standing at a supermarket checkout while the operator checks out her items, by keying in prices or codes. The customer has a thin scarf which shows the curlers she is wearing in her hair. The image is "torn" with the words "Because we're women" at top centre. On the checkout bench are items including Chelsea white sugar, SX bread (manufactured by Stacey & Hawker), Purex toilet tissue, and a carton of eggs. Description: Card advertising the Co-Operative Wholesale Society features a pop-up three-dimensional grocery shop counter, and inside, an account of the CWS, with photographs of its first store at Rochdale, a colliery at Shilbottle, a clothing factory at Broughton, ironworks at Keighley, boot and shoe works at Leicester, biscuit factory at Crumpsall, and a cabinet factory at Radcliffe. One panel shows an illustration by Harry Rountree of a mother rabbit returning home from the Co-Op with her many children and exclaiming to her husband "Look what we got for the money!"
