Recalls their long working days in pubs, talks about Wall's father's dislike of Glover, mentions Mary Glover and Khura Glover, describes the events leading to Glover no longer working at Pegasus for Albion Wright. Mentions editing 'Hot Water Sailor and Land Lubber Ho!' and his approach to editing a deceased person's work. Mentions a story Glover wrote for Radio 3YA. Talks about visiting Glover at Paekakariki and Glover's relationship with his wife Khura. Description: Object made up of a Mordon & Co. portable copying press and a copy book. The press includes the cover with cast iron clasps, instructions for use, the copy book, Zuccato papyrographic paper and board required to make copies. The previous owner, artist Benjamin Aylett Branfill, has written his name on the inside cover of both the press and copy book. The book contains copied correspondence of Colonel Branfill, which date from 20 January 1880 to 12 December 1880. Letters are addressed to his wife, children and business contacts. Much of his writing appears to be on the subject of Christianity and the Bible. Title supplied by Library. Describes turning down a large inheritance and opportunity in Kenya in order to continue with Glover and the Caxton Press. Talks about getting a loan from a family contact for upgrading equipment; Leo Bensemann's involvement during World War II; factors leading to Dennis Donovan asking Glover to leave Caxton Press.
