Description: Interview with Dr Vincent (Vince) Gray, born in London in 1922. Outlines his family background in England and studying at Cambridge University. Refers to wartime projects on bomb fuels. Talks about working in Paris, France for a period followed by a fellowship in Ottawa in 1949. Outlines returning to England and jobs he held including in the coal industry, the Timber Research and Development Association and the Ministry of Public Building and Works. The third is a parent trying to purchase a school uniform for their obese child. The salesperson says that the shorts will double as a tent on school camps. The fourth is a real estate agent trying to sell a couple an investment property of a ski chalet which will become a coastal bach for their grandchildren in 50 years time.
