Tahapeehi, Brown, active 1962-2016

Photographed as a young boy by Ans Westra at the Hui Topu held at Turangawaewae in May 1962. Also photographed by her when he was playing a trumpet as part of the Waikato Taniwharau Brass Band at the poukai, welcome for Sir Bernard Fergusson in March 1963. Enrolled as Brown Tahapeehi at Ngaruawahia High School in 1964. Mentioned as being a relative in the death notice for Doreen Low (née Calder) in the Westland Funeral Services obituaries. She died on 28 April 2016 in Greymouth. "Judy and Brownie Tahapeehi".
