Description: A pyramid in the left background, a tall structure to the right, two figures negotiating a river in the foreground. Artist also known as Edward Gordon-Craig; was the son of the actress Ellen Terry. Removed in March 1987 from: Craig, Edward Gordon. Woodcuts and some words. London ; Dent 1924. (q761 G CRA 1938, Acc. 53122). Was loose in the front of the volume. Printing date 1906 and pencilled dated and initials EGC 1923 suggest that the artist recorded the view in 1906 during a trip to Egypt and made the print in 1923.
