Description: Card shows an illustration of a longhaired girl, probably Maori, operating a radio-telegraph set mounted on a tree stump. Above her a spider crosses its web slung between two uprights. At left a moa looks on and at the right a kiwi watches. The spider, moa and kiwi all have question marks of curiosity above their heads. The radio station name ZL3BT is spelled out in fern leaves at top left. Esme Herrick is listed as an amateur radio operator on http://dokufunk.org/amateur_radio/contributions/index.php?CID=2031, indicating a 1930s date. She married in 1936, and the card therefore probably dates before that time Quantity: 1 colour photo-mechanical print(s). Physical Description: Relief print on card, 90 x 142 mm. Provenance: Donated by Dylan Owen, Wellington, in 2013.
