Description: Ink drawing shows the ground floor plan of a long house one room deep, with a connecting corridor running the length of the building. The rooms, from left are: kitchen, dining room, hallway with attic rooms over, living room and another room at the end. Notes on verso of backing: "An interesting feature of this cottage was that attic rooms were connected to rooms below by a separate staircase to each room. The dining room was panelled with totara". Original artwork prepared for "Making New Zealand", vol. 2, no. 20, page 7 Quantity: 1 drawing(s). Physical Description: Ink drawing 89 x 197 mm.
