Description: Panoramic view overlooking the Wainuioru Valley in the Wairarapa. Taken from a road which winds down on the right. Land mostly semi-cleared for farming with grass amongst tree stumps. Patches of bush in river valley in centre. Areas of river flats above the river level. Small fenced are with sheep pens in the lower left foreground. Includes boundaries of paddocks, each having its name and acreage which are totalled to the left of the map. A new private road from the Home Paddock leads towards Masterton and Admiral Run. Creeks and a spring are marked, also areas of native bush. Names of adjoining property holders include W. B. Chennells, J. Strang, Nathan, Perry.
