Description: View of the Haast, Rudolf and Tasman glaciers. Written above the photographic collage are the names of identified peaks, etc - (Left to right) Heidinder (Haidinger) Spitze, 3054; Rant Spitze, 2908; Mount Jervois, 2652; Rudolf Spitze, 2924; Mount de la Beche, 3103; Mount Green, 2815; Mount Eli de Beaumont, 3075; Wilzeck Spitze, 3039; Hochstetter Dom, 2840; Mount Darwin, 2677; Haeckel Spitze, 2619; Mount Malte Brun, 2753. Title is inscribed in German. This collage of photographs must have been produced after 1882 when William Spotswood Green named several features around Mt Cook after his wife Linda. The three photographs are dovetailed together giving a rear view of the three glaciers. Mountain profiles were cut and all pasted on a sheet of blue grey paper. Description: Photographs taken by H C Peart, circa 1920-1921. Various views of glaciers, crevasses, and unidentified climbers; southern lakes, Milford Sound and waterfalls. Several show the Franz Josef Glacier from the Almer bivouac. Three views of Milford Sound show a steamship. Of these numbers 16 and 17 show a small steamship in Milford Sound, and number 27 shows a steamship and several men in two dinghies.
