Farming locality 6kms south east of Sanson on State Highway 3. It takes its name from a hill of the same name nearby. It has been named after the Chief Surveyor of the Wellington Provincial Government, John Tiffin Stewart.

Description: The journey begins at Palmerston North and includes Hawke's Bay, Gisborne and the Bay of Plenty. The van follows State Highway two with frequent deviations from it into various back block localities. Another section of the journey is from Wairoa to Taupo via Lake Waikaremoana and the Kaingaroa Forest. Children as library users and at some of the schools where the van stops are featured.
