Description: Plans show existing and new ground floor, new loft, north and south elevations and six sections, details, joinery, and sections of laundry tub. Drawings show freehand plans of ground floor and first floor, and views of a corner of the living room and the interior of the loft. House was originally designed for Harry H Tombs by Chapman Taylor, and completed in 1910. (See note in "Building progress", 1 October 1910, page 421, and longer article on November 1, 1910, pages 451-453. Also article in Evening post, 23 December 1978, and in D. McGill's "In praise of older buildings", page 42. (ATL has copy at 720.9931 MCG). Previous owner of the house was Win Lynch's father, Albert Eaton Hurley.
