Part of the Archive of New Zealand Music Variations in title - Title on note written by the donor and inserted in the inside cover of the book reads 'The Laghmor [sic] Song Book written by Alice McLean at Laghmor Station, managed by her husband; Mrs McLean gathered these songs sung by the shepherds etc. (c.1890?).' No words are given to any of the music in the book. Source of title - Supplied title Other Titles - The Lagmhor Song Book Relationship complexity - See also MS-Papers-0440 and MS-Group-0185 Alice McLean was for many years a member of the Canterbury Caledonian Society and became an Honorary Life Member.
