Description: Shows a number of European buildings built on top of, and at the foot of, two hillocks. Tracks have been made to the buildiings and the buildings on top of the hills have been partially fenced off. The show-covered peak of Mt Taranaki rises prominently in the background. This scene would appear to be of the Pungarehu redoubt, rather than of the Maori village of Parihaka, although the two were in reasonable proximity to each other.
