Description: Cadastral map of subdivisions, some numbered, in sections 312, 313 and 314 on the corner of Brougham and Elizabeth streets, intersected by Moncrief Street. Includes acreages and boundary measurements. Sections 313 and 314 include C.T. numbers and are part of D.P. 240. Names include W. Hodson, F. & C.S. Cording, P.Chetwood Watt, E. S. Quinlan, Education Board which is currently the site of Clyde Quay School. The plan for alterations, for Mr. L. Quinlan, (builder) for a residence at 32 Brougham Street includes faint outlines of the original building. Specifications are not included on the plan but a pencilled note gives measurements in square feet. Other Titles - Alterations to residence - 32 Brougham Street - for Mr. L. Description: This negative is split between two separate images, the right hand one being identified by the photographer Robert Percy Moore; the left one identified from the name plate on the gate of the building Images of two private hospitals in Wellington. 1) A two-storeyed wooden house at 278-280 Willis Street, used by Dr Louis Levy for his private obstetric hospital. Cabbage trees behind a hedge. Tram lines in the foreground with a car parked on the far right (no. plate WN6876). The hospital building lies between a single-storeyed house on the right and two two-storeyed buildings on the left, one of which has a grocery shop on the ground floor. 2) A two-storeyed building on a rise on the left, with five women standing by the entrance at the top of the path. Four are wearing white uniforms, one woman in a dark colour. Road on far right. Porches on both floors of the building overlook a rough driveway which runs up beside the building.
