Description: Survey map of the town of Charleston from Constance Bay in the west to the First Methodist parsonage in the east, with 396 numbered lots and a grid of roads. The map includes land designated for a school, post office, hospital, cemetry, new cemetry, cricket ground and a camp. An explosives magazine is located beside the bay, and a signal station on an island at the bay entrance. Tom Powell's coal pit, McClatchie Bros workings, another old workings, tail races and a dam are marked, as well as John Warner's milk farm. The northern extension of Camp Street is Buller Road to Westport and the southern end of Camp Street South is marked as the road to Brighton.
