Description: 46 images of the Duke of Gloucester's tour of New Zealand in 1934-5 including: nine of his visit to Rotorua including Maori kapa haka; one of veterans at the bridge of remembrance in Christchurch; one of him opening Tekapo bridge and another of the party at Tekapo House hotel; one of him in a crowd outside the railway station in Hokitika; one of him inspecting a parade of nurses; one of him visiting a traditional whare; two of him as a jockey at a race meeting; three of the felling of a kauri tree; seven of his stay at Longbeach sheep station, Ashburton County; and two of him at the Waitangi memorial.
