Description: Collection comprises twenty-six trademark and patent registers from the period 1895 to 1983. Many of the registers feature mounted examples of trademark designs and lettering. Registers appear to have originally been created at the Wellington, Auckland, and Christchurch offices of Baldwins, and by the firm Higgs and O'Donnell of Wellington prior to being taken over by Baldwins in 1964. Some registers are dedicated to Australian patent and design registrations. Title supplied by Library. Some of the registers were created by the firm Higgs & O'Donnell of Wellington which was taken over by Baldwin Son & Carey in 1964.
