Description: A version of the drawing by Dodd, but the image is reversed. Shows a scene in which Captain Cook has already been killed, and is being dragged away from the water's edge by two Hawaiian men, in a face-down position. He appears to be dressed entirely in white. A number of Hawaiians seem to be fighting over the dagger with which he has been stabbed. Cook's men, on board a rowboat just offshore, are helping others who have fled the scene into the boat.
