Author, astrologer and public figure from Auckland, New Zealand, who publishes yearly almanacs for New Zealand, Australia and Ireland in which he claims to predict the weather for the entire year. He also issues predictions of earthquakes. Ring is a denier of anthropogenic global warming. Ring has been widely criticised and debunked by many skeptics and scientists. His almanac and website predictions have been statistically tested against actual weather data and all results have so far been negative. No scientists accept Ken Ring's claims or methods.
