Blenheim images show riverside scene with unidentified men and flower gardens, Pollard Park, monkey in cage at Blenheim Zoo, Seymour Gardens (with water feature and rose gardens), and war memorial clock tower. Waihi Beach scenes show the New Zealand Surf Championships, January 1955. Images are a wide view of beach, spectators, and unidentified men from the Whakatane Surf Life Saving Club team in an informal portrait as well as during “march past”. Two images of Rangitaiki Plains with Tarawera River with ocean and Whale Island in the background. Auckland ladies’ and Tauranga men’s pipe bands performing in field with spectators, January 1956.
