Smith, Brian, 1939-

Tenor saxophone player who played first in Auckland, and later moved to Australia, and in 1964 to Britain, where he played with many well-known musicians. He returned to New Zealand in 1982. In 1990 he enjoyed commercial success when his album 'Moonlight Sax' topped the NZ album charts. He regularly performs and teaches, including at the NZ School of Music.
