Description: Photographs of Canterbury University College Drama Society 1943 production of Hamlet, produced by Marie Donaldson and A J Henderson, with assistance from Ngaio Marsh and Dundas Walker; music specially composed by Douglas Lilburn. Programme with full list of cast and production crew inserted in album, `Hamlet in modern dress. Little Theatre, August 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th 1943'. Several newspaper cuttings are inserted in the album. In the latter part of the album is a torn portion of the programme for Othello, produced by Ngaio Marsh, with a series of photographs from the production Inscriptions: Album page - `Ngaio Marsh. Hamlet. Canterbury University College Drama Society, 1943' hand lettered on title page. Quantity: 1 album(s).
