She talkes about schooling and then her career as a hairdresser. Helen established her own hairdressing business at a young age and continued it over a period of 40 years. She describes her skills, how she learnt them and the rapport she had with customers and staff. She sums up her feelings and about hairdressing thus; "I loved my work, still like it, still love doing hair..." The interview covers many aspects of Helen's life, her family, friends, career, creative interests and the importance of her religious faith.
