Description: Cadastral, surveyed map of land to be taken for housing purposes, according to the Public Works Act 1928. The land, belonging to Maori owners, is to be used for the Wiremutaone subdivision, Johnsonville, now in the vicinity of Moorefield Road, and is highlighted blue, orange and sepia. Shows the Native (Maori) Land numbers N.L. 850 and N.L. 3393, acreage and certificate of title numbers. Also highlighted in yellow, is Native Land 2571, with the name L A Kenny. Surrounding, unhighlighted land is owned by the Wellington Brick Company Ltd, S W Fitzherbert, E Kenny, F Jacobs, the Public Trustee. Four land owner names are written on the map: Simeon, Dwan, Love and Hogg, with acreage, land value (with date), and price per acre. A public road, Proc. 2450, is shown to go through Pt 18, and is now called Moorefield Road, Johnsonville. Includes several pencil annotations, mainly prices and calculations. Description: Eight (8) maps drawn on base diazo maps of Kapiti Coast and Horowhenua townships, showing electricity reticulation information. Some maps contain two maps, as noted. The maps are: 1 - Tokomaru Township reticulation; 2 - Manawatu Foxton Heads reticulation; 4 - Ōhau Township reticulation [and] Manakau reticulation; 5 - Waimeha Township reticulation [and] Waikanae Township; 6 - Paraparaumu Beach [and] Tasman Beach Ōtaki. 7 - Paraparaumu Township reticulation; [8 & 9] - Raumati Beach S.D. [and] Renown and Kawatiri beaches with extensions, reticulation (on same sheet); 10 - Paekākāriki Township. Each map has annotated information drawn on a diazo print that shows township layouts with numbered sections and roads.
