Also includes digital copies of cartoons submitted for the Canon Media Awards 2012, 2014, and 2015 by various cartoonists. Ian Grant has had a career in New Zealand newspaper and book publishing. His particular interest in cartoons has resulted in his authorship of several works on New Zealand political and social cartooning. His roles in relation to New Zealand cartooning include: editorial director at the National Business Review between 1970 and 1983, founder of the New Zealand Cartoon Archive in 1991-1992, and judge of the "Cartoonist of the Year" section of the Canon Media Awards.
