Born Wanganui. Joined Territorials 1927, Wellington West Coast Regt, being commissioned 2nd LT on 1 Sep 1936. Enlisted for WWII on 15 September 1939, serving in 19th Battalion of Armed Regt & 32nd Bttn, gaining rank of Major. Took part in Greece and Crete Campaigns and was wounded at Alam Nayil in 1942. Death date from family member.
