King of Hawaii, ascending to the throne in 1919, aged 21, on the death of his father, Kamehameha I. He died in London of measles on 14 July 1824.

Description: View of a box in the Theatre Royal, London, with members of Hawaiian royalty attending the theatre 'The visit to England of the Hawaiian King and his young wife attracted much popular attention. Sadly, a month after their visit to the New Theatre Royal in Drury Lane, both contracted measles, and the twenty-two year old Queen, Kamamalu (translated as Tamehamalu at the time) died on July 8th, 1824. Description: Shows three Hawaiian men and one woman, with a British woman. The Hawaiians are outlandishly dressed in a mixture of European and supposedly Hawaiian clothing. Their skin is tattooed. They are in a back room in a tavern with a dressing table, a mirror and a picture on the wall. King Kamehameha II and Queen Tamehamalu of Hawaii arrived with a suite in London on 20 May 1824.
