Festival des arts du Pacifique, Pacific Festival of Arts

Festival hosted every four years by a different country in Oceania. It was conceived by the Secretariat of the Pacific Community. First was held in 1972 at Suva, Fiji. 5th was held in 1988 at Townsville, Australia.

Comprises images of: -Cook Island pupils from Brandon Intermediate School (Porirua) singing, dancing, and playing instruments. Includes their 1986 visit to the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand School of Music. Includes some images of their teacher Teremoana Ma Ua Hodges. (These images include the colour prints) -Singers, dancers and musicians from Guam, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Tahiti taken by Gil Hanly.
