Harris, Peter Stuart, 1946-

Labour economist and trade union official. Born in South Africa and arrived in New Zealand in 1974. Lecturer in economics at Massey University, Palmerston North 1974-1976. With the NZ Public Service Association 1976-1988, and since then with NZ Council of Trade Unions. Wrote article about proportional representation in 1993; presented paper at the Peace, Power and Politics Conference in 1993.
