Description: Photographs of the New Zealand Centennial Exhibition of 1940, taken by Noel D'Eresby Aickin, including images of the buildings, exhibitions and associated events. Also included is a photograph of Wellington Company 19th Battalion, taken in Helwan, Egypt, on 25 July 1941; and photographs of two parades in Wellington, possibly in connection to a state visit, ca 1940s. Other - Photographs of Wellington possibly taken by Mrs Robertson's father, a photographer, Mr d'Eresby Aickin. She has memorabilia to do with 1940 Centennial Exhibition, where he and her mother took photographs (which are credited to Eileen Deste).
