Wellington barrister. Victoria University (MA & LLB); lecturer in law subjects for 13 years; member of various committees (President Academy of Fine Arts 1938-1949). In 1929 married Edith Crawford. See Who's who in NZ 10th edition 1971. Information from 1936 telephone directory gives his address as 354 Oriental Parade. In the 1937 telephone directory his address is Seddon Road, NaeNae, Lower Hutt.

Description: Cadastral map of the area between Oriental Parade and McFarlane Street, Wellington. Four numbered lots include acreages and boundary mesurements. Lot 1 includes the site of a shed and garage. The site of a residence is marked on Lot 2 and a note refers to the building alignment from McFarland Street. A garage from an adjoining section is noted as 7" over the boundary of Lot 4. Private ways have boundary measurements and their respective acreages are added to the totals of relevant lots. Accompanied by a copy of a typewritten sheet detailing valuations of each lot and City Council rules about drainage, rights of way and frontages onto the street. Notes refer to G.G.G. Watson's property, also to Mr. Watson, Mr. Russell, Chapman, Tripp, Watson, James and Co., 20 Brandon Street, Wellington Other Titles - Plan of part of Section 373, town of Wellington Note on bottom right states: Distances and areas are subject to amendment on check of survey by Land Transfer Office Handwritten notes on verso state: Oriental Pde / Macfarlane Street [sic].
