Vandalia (Ship : Built 1874)

American naval ship of 2100 tons, launched in 1874. One of three American naval ships (along with the Trenton and the Nipsic) and three German naval ships (the Olga, Adler and Eber) which were wrecked during a hurricane on 16 March 1889, in Apia Harbour.
