Steamship of 2350 tons, built in 1881 by R Steel & Co., Greenock, Scotland for Abram, Lyle & Sons, Greenock, and launched as "Cape Clear". Purchased by the Union Steam Ship Co., in 1884, and renamed Tekapo. The first USSCo vessel to be used in the Calcutta trade. Wrecked near Sydney Heads in May 1899.
