Description: Flier inviting visitors to visit Camp David at Waipara. The women of the community make heraldic flags, and the premises have a deer park, horses, aviaries, aquariums, pottery, militaria, lapidary and horticulture. There is an illustration of the heraldic flag that flies from the flagpole continuously. The flier is accompanied by a letter to an interested outsider from Miss R Metcalf, secretary, dated 20 March 1980 at Amberley. The Tawa Union Parish began in 1972 from the amalgamation of the Tawa Methodist, Presbyterian and Church of Christ denominations into the Tawa Union Parish, where combined services, pulpit exchanges and other activities were shared. The orginal Methodist church of St Stephen's, St Aidan's and St Luke's (Presbyterian) and the Associated Churches of Christ held their own services.
