Hall, Henry Joseph, -1897

Wrote to William Rolleston from Riccarton in 1883 re his son-in-law Ashton Wachsmann (husband of his eldest daughter Lily Hall). Husband of Eleanor Hall. Proprietor of Birdling Brook Farm at Leeston-cum-Lakeside. Chairman of the Riccarton Road Board. Arrived in New Zealand in 1859. Died 10 May 1897 in his 61st year (see obituary - Ellesmere Guardian, 12 May 1897, page 2).
