Santa Claus, who has the face of Finance Minister, Roger Douglas, holds a large box tied with a bow that is labelled 'Economic package do not open until '88'. The reindeer have the faces of Prime Minister, David Lange, Minister of Transport, Richard Prebble, Deputy Prime Minister, Geoffrey Palmer, Minister of Maori Affairs, Koro Wetere, and Minister of Trade and Industry, David Caygill.
