Folk singer and social activist. Born Auckland. Worked with Health Dept for nine years, was CORSO organiser for southern part of North Island and negotiator and advocate for PSA. Also folk singer and entertainer; and an active member of the NZ Peace Council 1951-1955, CND (NZ) 1958-1964, and Committee on Vietnam (Wellington) 1966-1970
