Safo-Adu, Kwame (Dr), active 1990

Born at Kumasi, Ghana. Trained at Ghana University and at Kings College, London. Lectured on drugs at Kings and at Ibadan in Nigeria and took a special interest in the pain-relieving and curative properties of native plants. Charged in 1990 of misapplication of public property and economic sabotage. Successfully defended by John Platts-Mills, Q.C.
