Description: Records consist of minutes and correspondence 1968-1984, which appear to be the only surviving records of the time when the Congress was located at Lae, together with minutes, press releases, and other papers. Source of title - Transcribed The predecessor of the Congress was the Federation of Workers Associations, which was formed in 1969, and based at Lae. The current name was adopted in 1974, and after the affiliation of the Port Moresby Council of Trade Unions, the headquarters were moved to Port Moresby. Quantity: 5 microfilm reel(s).
