Description: Most of the images in this collection are photographic postcards. The largest group are of the Wairakei thermal area taken by Frederick George Radcliffe. Others are of Kawaroa Park, New Plymouth, McRae's Hotel, Te Wairoa, Shannon, a view of the Wellington wharves and Custom House, Mount Egmont, and the Skippers road. Description: Album recording a motoring and camping holiday through the South Island of New Zealand. This took in the New Zealand South Seas Exhibition in Dunedin and included the West Coast, Otago, and Canterbury. The central part of the album has images of Khandallah, Wellington, and the family home in that suburb. Family photographs include Doug on his Norton Motorcycle, and Jack and Neville similarly posed on a Douglas Motorcycle. Rene and Frank stand at the net holding tennis rackets, and mother has several images with young Joyce. The last part of the album recordes something of a holiday to Auckland where the family camped at Brown's Bay and took a trip to Kawau Island. A group shot on Mt Messanger on the way back and some views of Pukekura Park New Plymouth complete the album Quantity: 1 b&w original photographic print(s).

Description: Photographs of: a group of people gathered to watch sports on the Queen's Birthday in Tonga including Seddon; a view of the coast at Cape Foulwind; a letter addressed to "Sire Sedone, Pirima, Neuseland" from Niue; a gathering of Tongans outside a marquee in Nuku'alofa for the Queen's birthday celebrations; Seddon and what are probably other parliamentarians standing on the steps of a building; a large totara; the Seddon family on a visit to the state schoolhouse in Levuka, Fiji; the Seddon family gathered round an ornately framed certificate noting Seddon's achievements; Huka Falls taken by the Burton Brothers; Seddon holding a taiaha seated in a group of seven working men; the recreation ground in New Plymouth looking towards Mount Taranaki; two portraits of Samoan girls; a cart travelling on the Cable Bay Road looking out over the bay taken by Tyree Studio; Lake Taupo from Motutere taken by Burton Brothers; and a group of men, possibly including Seddon, sitting and standing on the steps of a building. Description: Photographs probably taken by George William Barltrop, circa 1890s-1900s. Most of the scenes are taken on a river boat trip up the Whanganui River, and include two of groups of Maori; one showing two nuns in full habit, walking behind three young Maori girls who are wearing ankle-length dresses. Some of the river scenes show stretches of the river, including several `on the rapids', and one of a group of men in a waka. Others are of the various villages passed on the trip, including one of the river boat tied up at Jerusalem, with a cart drawn by two horses alongside. One view shows the mouth of the Whanganui River at Patea, and from there the images are of the New Plymouth area, including Mount Taranaki (then Mount Egmont), the Sugar Loaves, the monument to Wiremu Tamati on the hill at Corbett Park (Oakura), and Opunake.
