Wilson, Matron, 1874-1958

Army nurse, matron. Member of staff at Apia Hospital during World War I. Theatre sister in Cairo. Transferred to England in 1916 and sub-matron at Brockenhurst. In 1917 promoted to matron of No 2 New Zealand General Hospital, Walton-on-Thames. Decorated by the Royal Red Cross. Discharged from New Zealand Expeditionary Force in 1920.
