Title taken from item. Votes for Peace was a working group of peacemakers set up to co-ordinate election strategy. This strategy was to make New Zealand a nuclear-weapons-free zone by lobbying all parties to adopt or maintain a policy of excluding nuclear weapons from New Zealand.
