These cover his work as a Methodist City Missioner, his Friendly Road broadcasts and his career as Controller of the National Commercial Broadcasting Service; his work in China (including correspondence with and material about Rewi Alley), for the International Protein Organization and for the Associated Network Group which unsuccessfully applied to operate a second television channel in 1969, and his private interests in aviation, open-heart surgery and current affairs; there are also a number of autobiographical and philosophical jottings scattered through the collection.
