Description: Photographs of YMCA Christmas trips in 1938 and 1939, to Milford Sound and the Whanganui River, taken by William Hall Raine. As well as photographs there are a number of newspaper and magazine cuttings, some of which were produced in the New Zealand Free Lance (January 25, 1939), following the Wellington Y.M.C.A. party on their trip to Milford. The photographs of the Whanganui trip were not taken by William Hall Raine, as he was on the Milford trip at the time. The Whanganui scenes are in an envelope inserted in the front of the album, and show the party travelling by ferry up the river, with picnics on the bank. Quantity: 1 album(s) Album(s).
