Percy, W S, 1872-1946

Australian born actor, singer and writer, who performed in New Zealand in 1907. He was also an artist and etcher. He corresponded with the Alexander Turnbull Library from London in 1942 about his history of the theatre in New Zealand. A photographic portrait appears in "The theatrical pictorial" (Brett Printing Company, ca 1915), page 15 . See also photographs in Theatrical Album 5 (PA1-q-237, No 233)
