Description: Pamphlet advertising the attractions of the Chateau Tongariro and the Tongariro area. Recto shows the cover panel with a seated blonde woman with a drink at a small table, and a photograph of dancers in the Chateau's ballroom. Also shows a location map, a list of interesting trips, an illustration ("where the white sport reigns") showing a mountain slope with chairlift marked, with two photographs of skiers. The packaging was removed upon arrival into the Library, in order to ascertain the content, and to preserve the cards in perpetuity. Date of publication estimated from the donor's account of a visit to Rotorua. The price of the cards was in sterling currency and therefore dates from 1967 or earlier.
