Sections highlighted in blue represent sections to be sold by the Colonists land & Loan Corporation Limited, and include section number, acreage and an annotated sale price (in pink ink). The first map (Acc. 8208) shows sections 5-10 bounded by West, North and Railway street; the second map (Acc. 8209) shows sections 758-763 and 767-778 bounded by Kimbolton, North, Monmouth and Lytton streets and the third (Acc. 5810) shows sections 432 and 438 on Denbigh St, 441-5 on Kimbolton Rd, sections 1, 41 and 35 on Weld St, sections 272-7 bound by Kimbolton and MacArthur St, sections 281-6 and 279-280 bound by MacArthur and Fergusson St. The third and largest map, Acc.8210, also indicates several town blocks as sold or occupied, and identifies occupants including four hotels (the Manchester, Feilding, Denbigh and Empire), two banks (Bank of Australasia, Bank of New Zealand), new Post Office, Star office, coal depot, blacksmith's shop, and several unnamed shops and offices.
