Set of piano-conductor scores for 'Songs of New Zealand' by Alex Lithgow, originally published in 1920.
Comprises single- or double-page scores for 28 different musical instruments that make up a small orchestra. Most are printed; some are handwritten or copied. All include annotations, such as page numbers, titles and additional musical direction.
The printed scores were published by Carl Fischer, New York, 1920 and arranged by M L Lake.
Also includes an H B Williams Memorial Library folder used to house the set of scores, which includes a list of parts and the corresponding page in the score.
